Above are the first 4 pages of what would have been a future issue of the series, followed by a couple of pin-ups.

About halfway through development, "Caliburn" was renamed "The Innocents" because of concerns that nobody would know what the heck "Caliburn" was! So the ad above uses "The Innocents" as the title. Now there's another indy comic that uses that title, so back to "Caliburn" it goes (which is fine since I always thought "Caliburn" was a better title for this series anyhow, making reference to Arthur's sword, Excalibur).

The cover of the first issue was done by Simon Bisley, hence his name on the ad, and we got J.H. Williams III to do a cover as well.
